CLIFFORD GARRETT

Like all skilled craftsmen, Clifford Garrett works to the very highest of standards. He was trained by the renowned conservator-restorer Bruce Luckhurst and his partner Jane Thomas. With over 50 years of experience as antique furniture restorers, as well as running a full-time conservation/restoration business, Bruce and Jane also run an academy dedicated to the training of future conservator-restorers... In 2007, Clifford served as part of a planning group tasked with the re-structuring of the BAFRA membership organization. This was to ensure that previous student and graduate level members would have an appropriate level of membership and a defined route towards full accreditation status within the BAFRA structure... Clifford also managed to impress the trustees of the Carpenters Company who awarded him a small bursary providing some financial support while undergoing the intensive training period.
