Our vision is one of better connection, and of progress in our two communities. This can be seen through our student exchange, and also through community and educational projects in Rungwe, and student sponsorship of Rungwe students. CRCL is ultimately a charity, and the fundraising we do goes toward projects in the community, and toward the student exchange of Cumbrian and Rungwe students... We are the Cumbria-Rungwe Community Link, a cultural exchange charity founded in 1987 seeking to provide education, opportunities and multicultural experiences to young people and the wider community of West Cumbria, and to relieve poverty through aid, development and education in the Rungwe district of Tanzania.
