Mosaic Footpath Map for Houghton Conquest, Beds. Glass and porcelain. 2m x 1m. An exterior wall panel. Client: Stonewater Housing. 2020. The illustrated mosaic map shows local paths and wildlife eg Red kite, bluebells, muntjac deer etc... Platform staff, guards and many more staff from both South Western Railway and Network Rail gave up their time to make the mosaic in an old buffet room at the station... Peregrine falcons nest on Salisbury Cathedral. This shows a section made in reverse as was the whole mosaic. Joanna Dewfall sets the reverse sections in her studio into bespoke aluminium trays ready for siting.
