Alan Lack is the only vet in Cheltenham to hold the prestigious RCVS Advanced Practitioner status, and we have 3 other members of the team working towards this high level of expertise.

Alex has been a Veterinary Nurse for 7 years and worked in a busy mixed animal practice in Mid Devon. After qualifying as Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2016, Alex wanted a change and a new veterinary nursing experience, and joined us at Dragon in April 2017.
Alex has a keen interest in pet nutrition, weight management and behaviour and puppy parties.

Amy joined Dragon in November 2018 heading up the reception at our Tewkesbury branch.
She has a Labrador called Billy and 2 ginger cats, Sky and Dexter.

Courtney joined the practice in 2017 as a second year student veterinary nurse. She has a Golden Retriever called Alfie and enjoys spending time cheering up unwell patients in the hospital.
In her spare time when she isn't studying, Courtney loves going to music concerts and watching Disney movies.

Courtney joined the Dragon team in January 2024 after completing her Animal Care and Welfare Course. She aspires to become a Veterinary Nurse herself in the future.
Courtney has two dogs, Arlo (Chihuahua cross) and Kobe (Cocker Spaniel). In her free time, Courtney loves to explore new places and go on adventures with her dogs as well as going to the gym, reading and learning new cooking recipes.

Emma Cooper joined Dragon from Coldicott's Vets in March 2020 after working there for 17 years. She celebrates her 10 year wedding anniversary and has a little girl with her husband.

Georgina Davis has been with Dragon Vets for more than 30 years, heading up the reception team at the main Racecourse branch.

Jane is married with three children (all grown) and two dogs. Originally from London, Jane has been living in Cheltenham for 25 years. Jane has been working in vets for nearly ten years. In her spare time, Jane loves cooking, travelling, body boarding, ocean swimming, dog walking, science and baking sourdough

Kirsty joined Dragon in 2005 as a student nurse and over the years has qualified and worked in the different branches, she loves to travel and has taken some time away from nursing to see the world including teaching in China.
She returned to nursing at Dragon in 2014 and has now taken on a management role at the practice.

Nicola joined the practice in March 2019, she has a Hungarian Vizsla called Alma, which means Apple in Hungarian. She also has a tortoise called Flora, who is well into her 80's!
An animal lover and keen runner, preferring off-road running, she likes nothing more than running over Cleeve Hill with Alma and has completed lots of marathons.
She is a huge coffee fan and pottering in the kitchen is another favourite thing to do - she loves cooking for friends and family.

Sophie has been working in small animal veterinary practice for over 20 years, initially as a Receptionist at Arvonia Vets and Honeybourne Vets in Cheltenham. After the birth of her son in 2018, she returned to Arvonia Vets as their Accounts and Claims Administrator. Sophie joined Dragon Vets in November 2023.
When not running around after her son, Sophie enjoys spending time with her cats and two young horses and hopes to get back into kickboxing and running.
