G-SAFE

G Safe is a Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP) working closely with the business community in Gravesham to prevent and reduce crime. Our mission is to bring people together, to resolve the issues facing them on a daily basis, such as shoplifting, anti-social behaviour and crime. We work closely with Kent Police's Town Centre Team, who cover the town centre are and support the needs of our local community... We also have a secure online incident reporting and intelligence sharing database, on which our members can report and view incidents and offenders of which they have been the victim, sharing this information to prevent others becoming victims too. Regular briefings and intel sharing meetings keep everyone up to date on current crime trends... We employ a crime manager, who reviews all incident reports received on our system, and can easily spot repeat offenders and crime trends, sharing this information with our members and the police, for targeted action.
