GPDA

The GPDA is an active member of Eurogypsum, the European Federation of national associations of producers of gypsum product manufacturers, based in Brussels. Its objective is to promote a sustainable built environment for Europe through the environmental, social and economic benefits of gypsum... The GPDA are working closely with other trade associations and industry stakeholders, with a view to developing a unified position on the use of gypsum systems in conjunction with mechanically ventilated smoke extraction systems. We are aware of current concerns, but without clear alignment of the standards that pertain to mechanical smoke control, the GPDA and its members are currently only able to provide limited information in relation to the perceived issues... The Gypsum Products Development Association (GPDA) represents the four major gypsum board and plaster manufacturers in the UK and Ireland - British Gypsum, Siniat, Knauf and Gyproc.
