GRAHAM GREENE BIRTHPLACE TRUST

Graham Greene was born in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, on 2 October 1904. His father was headmaster of the Berkhamsted Boys' School. Graham became one of the most successful British authors of the twentieth century, writing novels, film reviews, plays, short stories, essays and travel books. Many of his novels have been turned into films and his most famous works have been translated into a large number of languages... Welcome to The Graham Greene Birthplace Trust website. We are a non-profit organisation whose purpose is to promote interest and research into the life and works of the author Graham Greene (1904-1991) and to run the yearly Graham Greene International Festival.
