Biography Erin graduated from the University of Law in Manchester in 2019 with a Graduate Diploma in Law before completing the Legal Practice Course in Chester. She joined Guthrie Jones & Jones in 2019 working part time as a legal secretary in the Dolgellau office, and started her training contract in July 2021. Erin lives near Bala and in her spare time she enjoys reading, exercising and socialising with family and friends.

Gwenno Pritchard Hughes

Biography Gwenno was raised on a farm in Nant Peris and attended University in Bangor where she undertook a Law degree and a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. In October 2012, Gwenno joined the firm as a legal secretary and became a Trainee Solicitor in January 2016 after completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Christleton, Chester. Gwenno qualified as a solicitor in February 2018 and undertakes work relating to a wide range of matters including conveyancing, preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney, preparing Wills, probate, litigation, employment matters and family law. Gwenno became a mother in 2020 and in her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Gwenno is a fluent Welsh speaker and is happy to discuss matters, prepare documents and advise clients through the medium of Welsh or English.

Harriet Alys Parry

Biography Harriet Parry is a trainee solicitor at our Denbigh office. Harriet is originally from Caernarfon. She studied law at Cardiff University and later went on to undertake the Legal Practice Course with Masters in Legal Practice at Cardiff University. Harriet has also undertaken the ‘Advocacy in Welsh' course at Cardiff. Harriet enjoys reading, cooking and walking in her spare time.

Nansi Roberts Thirsk

Biography Nansi Roberts Thirsk LL.B (Partner) is the fourth generation of solicitors from the Roberts Jones family and the great granddaughter of the founder, John Roberts Jones, who was admitted in 1869. Though brought up in Bala, she has considerable legal experience outside Wales. She graduated from Newcastle University and was admitted in 1985 practicing in Newcastle upon Tyne for 12 years before returning to Wales in 1997. She lives in Bala, works from the Dolgellau office and is a member of Cantref the Bala Heritage Centre.

Osian Lloyd Roberts

Biography Osian Lloyd Roberts LL.B (Partner) studied law at the University of Wales Aberystwyth and at Cardiff Law School. He qualified as a solicitor with Guthrie Jones and Jones in 2003 and became a partner in the firm in 2010. He works from our Denbigh office and is a member of the Agricultural Law Association and Solicitors for the Elderly. He is a fluent Spanish speaker having lived and worked in the Basque Country for a year and having a graduate certificate in the language. Osian is one of fifteen lawyers who sit on the Law Society Wales Committee which meets in Cardiff to discuss Welsh legal affairs and he is also the Honorary Solicitor of the Welsh Cerdd Dant Association. Osian is the current President of Cheshire and North Wales Law Society.
