Amy Dickson - CEO

Amy joined Harbour House in 2022, bringing over 20 years of curatorial experience. She has worked at Tate Modern, Tate Liverpool, National Galleries of Scotland and ARTIST ROOMS, and also with numerous regional arts organisations across the UK. Amy is a qualified yoga teacher (and yoga teacher trainer) devoted to making contemporary art and movement accessible for all.

Amy Lightfoot

Amy works in education, leading global research and teacher development projects for the UK's largest charity. Her areas of expertise are educational programme and project management, including monitoring and evaluation.

Annabel Bennett

Job Titles:

Annabel has implemented impactful initiatives working at charities including Katherine Low Settlement and the UK Charity Clothing Collective. Annabel hopes to use her experience to help drive meaningful transformation at Harbour House.

Beth Richards

Job Titles:

Beth is a curator, artist and researcher with a focus on making exciting art projects happen in partnership with communities. When she's not at Harbour House, Beth co-directs Rame Projects - an artist-led project space in South East Cornwall, and lectures at universities and colleges across the South West.

Elaine Sinclair

Elaine is a curator and producer based in Plymouth. Elaine is passionate about making the arts more accessible and engaging local communities in contemporary art practices. Elaine works on the Gallery Exhibition Programme, as well as coordinating all the communications for Harbour House.

Emma Cook

  • Operations Manager
Emma has worked for the Trust for over 20 years, growing into the role of Operations Manager. Coming from a creative background, Emma is also a printmaker exhibiting locally and online. In 2021, she won the Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday Award (#SBS).

Hannah Firth

Hannah has 30 years' experience of working in cultural organisations including a-n: The Artists Information Company and Stills Gallery in Edinburgh. She's currently Co-Director (Artistic) at Chapter in Cardiff. She's curated critically acclaimed exhibitions for Wales at the Venice Biennale and commissioned collaborative programmes with various organisations in the UK and beyond. She's passionate about creating intentional and imaginative programmes that encourage opportunities for co-creation and connection between artists and audiences.

Helen Gray

Helen has over 20 years experience working as a cook and events organiser and co-founded the award winning, sustainable restaurant, The Clerkenwell Kitchen in London. More recently, Helen has been the manager at Blackawton Community Shop, where she has worked alongside a team of volunteers promoting the best of local produce

Judith Robinson

With over 40 years of experience working in the arts and cultural sector for institutions including the Arts Council England South West and The Box, Plymouth, Judith has first-hand knowledge of public sector funding and strategy. She is passionate about the role of art in society.

Sophie Darling

Sophie has been hosting yoga workshops and teaching weekly classes at Harbour House since 2016, and joined the office team in 2019. She oversees our Front of House Team and knows first-hand how creative and wellbeing activities can positively enhance the lives of people in our community.

Victoria Yates

  • Finance Manager
Victoria is a Chartered Management Accountant with a background in the charity and not-for-profit sector. She has worked primarily in the arts & culture sector for over 20 years - with theatres, orchestras, a festival and a circus. In her spare time she helps to run Bovey Paradiso Arts, a community-driven multi-arts venue in Bovey Tracey, Devon.
