The Imperial Male Voice Choir is a friendly group of around 30 men who meet to rehearse, perform concerts for charity and occasionally enter singing festivals. The origins of the choir were in the Operatic Society at Imperial College, where many of the original members met in the late 1970s, resulting in the choir being founded for an inaugural concert in Kensington in 1980. Since then the choir has expanded in both size, repertoire and average waistline and in most years performs in several concerts, usually in the south of England or on expeditions to Europe (France, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, Slovenia and Russia to date)...
