JAN DINGLE

Jan is NOW based on the Norfolk Broads in Thurne, a small village well known to visitors to the Broads. Family pressures over the last ten years combined with health issues have led to a diminishing amount of etching and Jan is now plein air painting. However, there are a lot of etchings for you to view and maybe buy... Jan Dingle originally studied graphic design at Hornsey College of Art. She turned to etching almost by chance whilst searching for a creative outlet when her family were growing up. From brilliant basic training at Rochester Adult Education College to post-graduate at Walthamstow to a commercial etching studio in Battersea she eventually ended up in the back garden in all weathers and the large number of etchings you see today began. She feels the varied training she received contributed greatly to the individuality of her etchings...
