LYSAGHT - Key Persons
Anita joined Lysaght in 2007. She is responsible for the purchase ledger.
Anne has been working in trade marks since 1990 and joined us in March 2002. Whilst Anne's prime responsibility is for our trade mark work in the Middle East, as well as certain English-speaking African countries, she is also in charge of training new members of staff.
Caroline joined Lysaght in March 2022 and is responsible for the accounts and personnel department, as well as assisting the board with operational and governance matters. She previously worked as Head of Finance for a Jersey financial services company and as an auditor senior manager for KPMG. Caroline qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Scotland in 2009. In 2019 Caroline was accredited with the Institute of Directors Certificate in Company Direction.
Caroline van Dijk recently visited Madagascar for meetings with our associate office as well as the Intellectual Property Office ‘OMAPI'. Mr Christian Claude RAVOARAHARISON, the Director General of OMAPI saw this as a great opportunity for an exchange of information and ideas and invited Caroline to a round table discussion with the Heads of OMAPI's IP Departments.

David joined Lysaght in 1997 and heads-up our IT Department and Knowledge Management Teams, overseeing our computer systems and the development of our in-house database and information systems. He also provides foreign language support to our administrators, and has in the past been responsible for administering our Trade Mark work in the Caribbean and English-speaking African jurisdictions. David holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from the University of Liverpool, and became a director and shareholder of the company in April 2018.
Louise graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Biochemistry in 1996. She trained as a UK Patent Attorney in England, qualified as a European Patent Attorney in 2000, and as a Chartered Patent Attorney in 2002. Louise joined Lysaght in January 2001 and is responsible for the management and development of our patent department, as well as overseeing and assisting with the daily prosecution of patent applications. In April 2004, Louise became a shareholder and director of the company.
Martin qualified as a UK Trade Mark Attorney in 1991. Martin joined Lysaght in 1996 after ten years' experience in trade marks. Martin has specific responsibility for applications filed in Latin America and Europe as well as over-seeing all contentious matters. In April 2004, Martin became a shareholder and director of the company.

Mike joined Lysaght in 2021, with 8 years' experience in patent annuity formalities. Mike will assist with day-to-day administration of patent and annuity applications.

Patricia has been an accounts supervisor at Lysaght since 2000. She is responsible for the sales ledger and credit control.
Richard graduated from the University of Leeds in 2012 with a Master's degree in Medicinal Chemistry, which included a placement year with a major U.K. pharmaceutical company. Richard joined Lysaght in 2015 having worked in the I.P. industry following university, and adds his considerable skills to our Patents department where he will be responsible for a portfolio of patent and design work. In 2016 Richard was awarded the Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property (with Distinction) from Bournemouth University, and he completed and passed his Trade Mark Attorney Exams in 2018 with distinction.
Sara has been with Lysaght since 1983 and, during this time, has specialised in patent annuities and design renewals. She manages the annuities team, and handles a worldwide portfolio of countries.
Sarah joined Lysaght in 2021, having worked in the trade marks department of another I.P. firm for 10 years. Sarah assists with day-to-day administration of trade mark applications.
