MANCHESTER RAPE CRISIS

Our Board of 6 trustees meets once a month. The trustees are responsible for ensuring that the work and development of GMRC adheres to our organisational purpose to provide support, information and advice to women who have experienced sexual violence at any point in their lives, in ways that are accountable, accessible and appropriate. Trustees also ensure that resources are available to continue and develop this valuable and necessary work. Our trustees understand the impact of sexual violence and contribute their own particular skills, knowledge and expertise... GMRC prioritises individual's rights to confidentiality. We work within Data Protection legislation and our own Confidentiality Policy. All volunteers and staff are provided with the necessary training to ensure confidentiality is respected... We are a women led, women only service, committed to providing a safe space in which survivors can heal.
