Originally trading from premises that now house the opticians in Silver Street, Whitwick, the company expanded in 1960 when Colin Mason joined the business. After qualifying as a pharmacist Colin Mason joined his father Albert Mason to form Mason & Son (Chemists) Ltd and opened a new pharmacy in Belvoir Road, Coalville where the branch remains to this day...
