MMG GUARDS

MMG Guards was formed in the early 1980s by Michele & Mick Day. We had been showing dogs since 1978 and with a young family and 4 Gordon Setters, needed something to fit into our car that would allow us to leave the dogs safely and well ventilated whilst we had a rest break or meal break on our way to & from shows. So the first TAILGATE GUARD was made, by Mick, who utilised his knowledge of cars along with his practical skills of design and welding. At this time, to the best of our knowledge, there was nothing like it on the market. Several of our friends asked us to make a TAILGATE GUARD for their cars, and the rest, as they say, is history... There is very little we are unable to make for vehicles and we pride ourselves on having one of the most comprehensive libraries of drawings for nearly every vehicle made over the last 30 odd years!
