Denise Valentine - CEO

Denise joined Mobility Trust as Chief Executive in May 2016. Previously an Occupational Therapist practicing in the NHS, she has many years' experience working with Wheelchair Services both in West Berkshire and Central London. She has worked in many different areas during her career as an OT including elderly care, renal, stroke services, neuro rehabilitation and community early supported discharge services for stroke patients. Denise is passionate about promoting the independence of disabled people through the provision of mobility aids. As NHS supply of powered mobility equipment decreases year on year, she is delighted to be able to help those who have been unable get the assistance they so desperately need elsewhere.

Katie Whitehouse

Mr Gregg Burgess-Salisbury

Gregg has worked in a number of different management roles, predominantly in the IT sector both in the UK and abroad. He has also been a Project Manager for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Gregg remains involved as a fundraiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind as well as the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre. He also volunteers with local charity, "ABC to Read" that assists disaffected and/or under-privileged young people in Berkshire to improve their confidence, comprehension, communication and reading skills.

Mr Larry Burgess

Larry's previous roles before retirement include more than nine years as the manager of a local NHS wheelchair service (St Marks Hospital, Maidenhead). Larry qualified initially as a hydraulics engineer, later moving into the aeronautical engineering sector, working for an international defence contractor in France and the UK. Voluntary work includes safe operation of a hyperbaric oxygen chamber at Berkshire MS Therapy Centre in reading one day each week, as well as fundraising and street collections for the centre. Larry joined Mobility Trust's board of Trustees in 2015.

Mr Thomas Loyd - Chairman

Thomas is the Chairman of our Board of Trustees. He has been a Trustee of many different charitable organisations and was appointed a Governor of the Wantage Townlands, a local housing trust, in October 1996 (retired 2013). He served for several years as a Trustee of the King Alfred's School Educational Trust and was also on the Council of Partners of the North Wessex Downs AONB. He was also The High Sheriff of Oxfordshire in 2007/8. As well as being our Chairman, Thomas has recently been appointed President of the Oxfordshire Branch of the CLA. He is also currently a Trustee of the Wantage Nursing Home Charitable Trust, Secretary to the Ardington with Lockinge Parochial Church Council, Churchwarden at Lockinge Church and is a Trustee of the Village Housing Charitable Trust in Ardington and Lockinge.

Mrs Angi Simpson

After spending 12 years as a training officer in the Civil Service, Angi moved into the computer world where she mainly worked as a technical analyst and later as an applications analyst. She worked on the Customer Information system for the Thames Water Project and as an Estimating Consultant with Xansa as part of the Estimating Consultancy Group. Following retirement, Angi worked at Mobility Trust as a part-time administrator before becoming a Trustee in 2012.

Mrs Anne Munn

Anne was Chief Executive of Mobility Trust for 20 years from 1996 until her retirement in 2016.
