MILL GRANARY

Opened on 2nd July 2017, our most recent addition to the Mill Granary portfolio. A stunning Shepherds Hut with a chic interior lovingly created for you to enjoy. A romantic retreat for two, enjoy our outdoor roll top cast iron bath, with piping hot water on tap, fill with bubbles and enjoy the soak under the stars... We are the third generation of the Hodgson family to live on the 330 acre working farm situated in the Lower Tees valley with our two children Alice and Joseph. The mainstay of the farm business was originally a herd of dairy cows but as economic conditions for milk became ever more precarious the decision was taken to diversify into the expanding leisure industry. In 2004 a redundant 19th century granary was converted into a stylish 5 star holiday house. This soon proved to be a success so was followed with converting a further redundant farm building which was opened as the Mill Byre in 2006, Church Cottage our village property in the nearby village of Gainford was..
