Originally from Lancashire, Alex is - to varying degrees of success - a violinist, pianist, singer and guitarist, with a degree in Music from Durham University.
After a spell working as a radio presenter, Alex - to the chagrin of at least two listeners - disappeared from the airwaves and found his way into the world of music publishing, joining Josef Weinberger in 2008. Alex worked initially as a member of the Concert Library before moving into his current role in Promotions.
A large portion of Alex's formative years were spent in amateur theatre, his favourite roles being Sid in The Pajama Game, Trevor Graydon in Thoroughly Modern Millie and Bobby/Zangler in Crazy for You. Other highlights include the blonde ones he had in his hair for West Side Story. Along the way he met his wife in the chorus of Oklahoma!, although it was his sailor costume in Anything Goes that really swung it.
These days, much of Alex's performing involves singing for his daughter, who would (most of the time) prefer that he stopped.

"MTI has given me a home away from home. There is a feeling of comradery among the employees that makes it more than a job - it's a fun, exciting place to come to work."
André Correia-Merillat traded the beaches of Rio de Janeiro for the bright lights and bustle of New York City in 1992. Before moving to the United States, André was a Head Auditor for an international accounting firm. Arriving in the U.S, his work afforded him the opportunity to meet many celebrities, including Princess Diana, JFK jr and Luciano Pavarotti.
He started as a temporary employee at MTI in 1999 and this led to his full-time employment in the Finance Department shortly thereafter. At MTI, he is currently the Director of Royalties Reporting & Accounting.
True to his Ipanema roots, André has a home near the beach, within commuting distance to the city. His twenty years at MTI have flown by - and although he may have left Rio decades ago, he retains his "adorable Brazilian accent!" Among his favorite musicals are Passion,Ragtime, Company, Xanadu, and, (of course!), Copacabana.
Every day I find another reason to be proud of working at MTI. Everyone here is truly dedicated to helping schools teach their students and engage them in music and theatre. And while my background lies more in the digital world, I am so happy to have a chance to combine my love of the digital world with my love of music … and all while helping support musical theatre educators! (And I even think I may have finally learned not to answer every time I hear someone say "ANNIE".)

Since joining MTI Europe in 2016, Bert Fink has relished the opportunity to see bold and brilliant productions of great Broadway and West End musicals in over a dozen languages, and work with talented directors and producers from across a vibrant European market. Previously, Fink served with The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization for over a quarter century, most recently in London, where he was SVP/Europe and, before that, in R&H's home office in New York City. There, he oversaw numerous international campaigns; wrote essays and liner notes for CD, DVD/BD, and songbooks; and co-produced bonus material for Home Entertainment releases with such studios as the Walt Disney Co., 20th Century Fox, Universal, and Warner Bros. (Highlights of his work on The Sound of Music included a Medal of Distinction from the State of Salzburg, and hosting Dame Julie Andrews in a special documentary on the film's 50th Anniversary DVD/BD edition).
Fink began his career as a Broadway publicist, working with such legendary theatre luminaries as Cameron Mackintosh, Stephen Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Bob Fosse, and Jerome Robbins, and on the original Broadway companies of Cats, Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Sunday in the Park with George, and others. Fink served on the Advisory Committee of the American Theater Wing for five years, and was a Tony Awards Nominator. He taught musical theatre history at New York University, and has guest-lectured at museums, libraries and universities across the USA, the UK and in Europe.
As an American transplanted to London, he is determined to convince his British colleagues of the merits of Major League Baseball (and his beloved Boston Red Sox), and asks that they not take offense at one of his favourite musicals, 1776.

Brian is the Director of the Amateur Licensing Department at Music Theatre International.
Cameron Mackintosh has been producing shows since 1967 and remains the world's most prolific producer of musicals in theatre history. As well as producing three of the world's longest running musicals - Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera and Cats - his legendary productions include Miss Saigon, Oliver!, Mary Poppins (co-produced with Disney), Side By Side By Sondheim, Little Shop of Horrors, Song and Dance, Tomfoolery, Martin Guerre, The Witches of Eastwick and Five Guys Named Moe. His acclaimed productions of My Fair Lady, Oklahoma! and Carousel have all been international successes, as have his reinvented new productions of Les Misérables, Miss Saigon and The Phantom of the Opera. Cameron is also co-producer with Jeffrey Seller of Hamilton in London.
In 2013, alongside Working Title Films and Universal, Cameron produced the hugely successful Oscar®, Golden Globe and BAFTA award-winning film adaptation of Les Misérables, which is one of the most successful movies ever of an original stage musical. The concert version of Les Misérables, which was first staged in 1989 at Domain Park in Sydney, has proved to be just as successful as the staged musical around the world. It has been filmed three times - at the Royal Albert Hall, the O2 Arena and the Gielgud Theatre - and is continually rescreened on TV and in cinemas throughout the world and, alongside his spectacular Royal Albert Hall production of The Phantom of the Opera, regularly breaks attendance records for live recording performances of musical theatre.
Cameron owns and operates eight historic London theatres, which have all been spectacularly rebuilt and refurbished for the 21st century. They house many of London's most successful hits. The Sondheim, formerly known as the Queen's, now has a glorious auditorium and backstage and has been renamed in honour of Cameron's great friend, theatrical legend Stephen Sondheim, who recently died. The last show he and Cameron were working on, Old Friends, premiered onstage and then TV as a sensational all-star gala last year and is now opening at the Gielgud this September for a limited season with a terrific cast including many of those from the gala, headed by Broadway legends Bernadette Peters and Lea Salonga.
In 1990, Cameron inaugurated the Chair of Contemporary Theatre at St Catherine's College in Oxford University, with Stephen Sondheim as his visiting professor. Music Theatre International, the world's largest owner of secondary rights of many of the greatest musicals ever written, is now one of Cameron's companies.
Cameron was knighted in the 1996 New Year's Honours for his services to British theatre and in June 2023, was awarded the Freedom of the City of London. He is the first British producer ever to be elected to Broadway's Theater Hall of Fame.
