Education Dip Dent Hygiene Opole, Poland 2014 Beata graduated the University of Technology in Poland with a Master's degree in marketing and management in 2002. After a period of working in this field, she decided to pursue her keen interest in Dentistry and then she qualified as a dental hygienist from the University of Opole in 2014. Ever since then Beata has been actively practicing hygiene treatments in specialist private practices. Beata joined our practice in 2022 and enjoys working with our patients, improving their oral health and smile.
Donna is our Lead Receptionist at Old street dental clinic and has been with us since 2016. She is highly experienced within the dental industry having worked as a dental nurse and receptionist in the past. She enjoys working as a receptionist as it gives her the opportunity to meet and greet patients, making them feel at ease. She is especially skilled in dealing with the nervous patient. Outside dentistry she has a keen interest in fitness and nutrition. She is passionate about the gym as well as spending time with family and friends.

Nikhil qualified from Barts and The London Dental School in 2017. Alongside general practice, he undertook further training working in Oral Surgery and Maxillofacial departments across various hospitals in London and the Midlands. He has advanced his knowledge by gaining a Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery and a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education. He is currently completing his Master's qualification in Implant Dentistry at the University of Bristol. Nikhil is a Clinical Lecturer in Oral Surgery at the prestigious King's College London, and he is proficient in carrying out routine and complex dental extractions, including removal of wisdom teeth. Nikhil accepts referrals for patients requiring replacement of missing teeth with dental implants. He is a member of the International Team for Implantology and the Association of Dental Implantology. He remains committed to developing his knowledge, staying up to date with advancements of techniques in implant dentistry. He also enjoys cosmetic dentistry and is an experienced Invisalign Go provider. His calm and gentle manner has made him popular with anxious patients. In his spare time, Nikhil likes to keep active with football, tennis and cycling.
Dr Rita qualified in Portugal in 2006 and moved to UK in 2007, where she gained a wide experience as a General Dentist working in mixed practices. Dr Rita enjoys most aspect of dentistry but has special interest in Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery. Dr Rita completed a Post Graduation in Implantology at Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2012, a Restorative Course at the renown Paul Tipman Dental Training Academy in London in 2013 and Modular course entitled Achieve Endodontic Confidence, Barts & The London Dental Hospital, London in 2017. She is very keen in keeping a good relationship with her patients and making them feel at ease with all dental procedures. She speaks English, Portuguese and good understanding of Spanish. On her spare time, she enjoys tennis, spinning classes and photography.
The dental profession sadly lost a distinguished member Dr Shelley Chopra in January 2020. Dr Chopra qualified from Guys Hospital in 1993. Following his vocational training in Chelmsford he went into general practice gaining knowledge in all spheres of dentistry. He had been the owner of Old Street Dental Clinic from 2002, since which time the practice has undergone major modernisation with an emphasis on a strict cross infection control and the use of modern dental techniques and equipment. Besides his career, Shelley enjoyed a happy family life with his loving wife Silvia and their two sons, who all shared same passion of travelling and gastronomy. Shelley was famous for Stand-up comedy shows, organised to raise funds for charities and social cause. His character, warm personality and integrity made a deep long-lasting impression on his colleagues and patients, to whom it was an honour to have known Shelley. Dr Shelley Chopra is dearly missed and never forgotten. Old Street Dental Clinic continues to run as a family business and pursuing to provide meticulous care and high quality treatments for all patients.
Mady qualified with the National Diploma In Dental Nursing in 2016 and is currently undertaking a dental radiography and radiology course. She has also completed an Implant course and works with a number of our specialists. Outside of the clinical environment she enjoys cooking and has a big passion for facial cosmetics.
