- Head of Department ( Joined Blundell 's in 2010 )
After graduating from the University of Bath with BSc (Hons) in Chemistry, he had a year in Wollongong, Australia before returning to complete his PGCE at the University of Exeter. He joined Blundell's in 2010 and was later appointed Head of Chemistry in 2014. He runs the Golf at Blundell's, and is actively involved in all sport including Hockey and Cricket coaching. He is now a sixth-form tutor in NC after 4 years as a resident tutor in Petergate.
Charles joined Blundell's from Pembroke School, Adelaide, following several years working in New Zealand, to take on the role as Head of Academic studies. He is an excellent teacher of Chemistry and has quickly become an integral part of the team. When possible, Charles takes an active role in the coaching of rugby and cricket.
After graduating from the University of Birmingham with a BSc (Hons) in Biology, Dylan enjoyed a career in financial services, working for several years as a stockbroker before moving to London to work for companies such as Standard & Poor's and the Financial Times. He moved away from the City to pursue a career in teaching and completed a PGCE at Exeter University. He taught for several years in a school in Cornwall before moving to Blundell's to teach Chemistry and Biology. He is the House Parent in Petergate and also plays a significant role in coaching rugby and athletics.

After graduating from the University of the West of England, Bristol, with a BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Chemical Sciences she has worked in industry as a Quality Control Technician, progressing to a Quality Assurance Supervisor at a poultry processor, before turning her back on industry to re-enter the world of academia. She joined Blundell's School as a Chemistry Technician in 2005. She organises the whole practical requirement of the department, whilst also researching new experiments. The teaching staff would not want to be without her.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fiona Baddeley on 2nd January 2016 after a quiet and courageous battle with cancer. Fiona had been the Head of Drama at Blundell's since 2001. She was a real inspiration to pupils in her time here and leaves behind a department with a strong, well-focused and dedicated team.

Having studied a four year BEng (Hons) degree in chemical engineering at Exeter University, she worked in industry as a project engineer for ICI and then a process engineer for Exxon Chemical, before settling in Devon. After raising a young family she retrained as a science teacher, teaching Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry to A Level at a selective girls' school, before relocating to Blundell's where she now holds the post of Head of Science. She is a tutor in Petergate, organises the school Appraisal system, oversees the ITT & NQT training and serves on the Senior Leadership Team.

After studying Analytical Sciences at Greenwich, he originally worked in industry before choosing to teach. He is an experienced teacher of Chemistry, with a majority of his experience in the state sector. With previous roles as Head of Science, he has quickly taken on responsibility at Blundell's, taking on the role as STEM coordinator. He is a sports fanatic and is actively involved in the cricket coaching set up.

After serving in the Commando Regiment Royal Artillery, he studied Analytical Chemistry at the University of Plymouth as a mature student. He joined the Chemistry department in 2016 and has since become a resident tutor in Old House. His army background has meant he has quickly become an integral part of the CCF corps and regularly helps with DoE and Ten Tors Expeditions.
