Bethany Cobain joined the practice in 2016 as one of our receptionists, she has since moved on to be our Practcie Manager but you can still see her on the reception desk on occassions. She has worked within hospitality for 9 years and has a vast amount of customer service experience. She enjoys walking around the East Neuk with her dog Mollie, fitness classes and spending time with her family. Bethany works full time in our St Andrews branch but you may see her in Ladybank and Newport on the odd occasion.

Cheryl Rae

Cheryl graduated from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary studies at The University of Edinburgh in 2017. Cheryl enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a particular interest in preventative health care and surgery. Cheryl grew up in Fife and returned to her roots after university. She previously worked in a busy first opinion/referral practice in South-East Fife. Cheryl lives at home with her tiny Chihuahua Nina (who she brings with her to work each day), her Sphynx cat Yvie and a Rabbit called Blue as well as 2 Dwarf Hamsters and a Crested Gecko! In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys travelling abroad and socialising with family and friends. Cheryl has also spent some time volunteering as a vet in South Africa working with the Big 5.

Cliodhna (Clio) O'Reilly

Cliodhna (Clio) graduated from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Medicine in Edinburgh in 2020. After graduating Clio worked as part of a mixed practice where she got to treat both large and small animals before deciding to specialise in small animal medicine and join our team in May 2022. Clio enjoys the variety that general practice has to offer especially dermatology and internal medicine. She also hopes to start a postgraduate certificate in small animal medicine in the new year. Clio grew up in the Republic of Ireland and prior to studying veterinary medicine she studied microbiology in the National University of Galway for 4 years. She currently lives in Fife with her partner and her crazy spaniel Teddy. When not at work she enjoys exploring the countryside and beaches with her dog, horse riding, reading and socialising with family/friends.

Daniela Taylor

Daniela graduated from the University of Cordoba (Spain) in 2017, during her studies she participated in externships at the University of Hannover and The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. Prior to joining the team in September 2020, she worked in a first opinion/referral practice in Yorkshire and briefly in Spain. She enjoys all aspects of being a GP vet and has a particular interest in dentistry/oral & maxillofacial surgery and oncology. Daniela grew up between Spain and Hampshire. When not at work she enjoys being outdoors, hiking, climbing, socializing and needlework.

I joined Provost Vets in April 2022 as a Student Veterinary Nurse and qualified in March 2023 after passing my final OSCE exams. I completed the City & Guilds Diploma in Veterinary Nursing at North Highland College UHI in Thurso. Before enrolling on the Veterinary Nursing course, I achieved my Veterinary Care Assistant qualification and have also studied NC & HNC Animal Care at Elmwood College in Cupar. Before joining the team at Provost I worked at another small animal practice in Fife. I enjoy running nurse clinics and inpatient care. I love guinea pigs and rabbits and now that I am qualified I hope to start an Exotic Nursing Certificate. Outside of work I enjoy going for walks with my Lhasa Apso Harvey and trance music festivals.

Indira Coomaraswamy

Indira Coomaraswarmy was born in Sri Lanka and grew up in Canada. She completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Microbiology from the University of Toronto in Canada before coming to Scotland for a postgraduate M.Phil degree in Virology at the University of Edinburgh. She fell in love with the city and decided to stay for a further degree in Veterinary Medicine. After completing that, she was lucky to have the opportunity to travel and practise overseas in many countries. She then spent some time working in England gaining experience in small animal medicine and she returned to Scotland about 8 years ago, where she lives with her family and one fabulous cat.

Kari Kobus

Kari Kobus is a 2000 graduate of Kansas State University and a US Navy veteran. She has been in Scotland since November of 2018 as a starting member of the Vets Now Dundee team. Kari lives in rural Forfar with her German Shepherd Dog Sigurd, her cat Cynderz and her partner Dave. She started working with Provost in August 2022, and you will see her across all 3 branches.

Louise Thaw joined our practice in March 2019 as one of our receptionists. She has worked in customer service for around 14 years. Before joining the practice, she was working and training to become a falconer. She lives locally with her wee brindle staffie Beau and partner Marc. Together the three love an adventure and in their spare time you'll most likely find them climbing a hill, wild camping and exploring Scotland. Louise works in all three branches.

Lynsey joined the team as a new receptionist in May 2019. Having previously worked as a emergency call handler, for an out of hour vets, and has over 16 years of customer service experience. Melissa Fairweather joined the team in February 2018, she qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1995. Her main interests are in-patient care and rabbits and small furries. She has recently started running rabbit health clinics from the St Andrews and Ladybank surgeries. Outside of work her main interests are walking with her Jack Russell Shelby, wildlife and the outdoors. She is also a massive 80's music fan.

Rosie Wardman

Rosie Wardman is our Clinical Director here at Provost Vets and joined our team in 2017. She graduated from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary studies at The University of Edinburgh in 2011 and has been working in small animal practice since then. Rosie enjoys the wide variety that clinical work offers and has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery. She also enjoys treating the exotic and wildlife species that come through our doors and volunteers as a marine mammal medic for the BDMLR. In her spare time Rosie enjoys coastal walks, gardening and spending time with her husband, daughter and beloved labrador Orla.

Theodora Stefanou

Theodora Joined Provost vets in February 2023. She graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2014. She has worked in small animal practice her whole career and has also worked for a charity. She enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine but does have a soft spot for anything cat related. Theodora has two glorious felines herself and enjoys spending her free time outside in the garden with them.
