Critically acclaimed and chart-topping Roots musician Ajay Srivastav performs songs from his albums ‘Powerless' and Karmic Blues', both of which have topped the UK Blues charts. He will be accompanied by renowned tabla player, Vinod Kerai.
Described in the music press as ground-breaking, Ajay is a singer/songwriter and guitar player who creates a world of sound that resonates with echoes of Delta Blues and Indian folk. He transcends musical borders with spiritual and meditative lyrics and a sound that bridges the Mississippi with the Ganges.
A highly unique and unmissable live act, Ajay raises the spirits of audiences wherever he performs with his unique line up of vocals, resonator guitar and tabla.
Our technical manager Chris also directs the Redbridge Youth Theatre Workshop.
Lover of history, cooking and being very silly. David teaches in local schools and RDC classes. Special talent: Knows everything there possibly is to know about Shakespeare.
