Aldrina Magwood

Aldrina Magwood is the Assistant Chief Officer for Strategic Planning and Transformation. Aldrina Magwood joined the Police Service of Northern Ireland on 1st March 2022 as the Assistant Chief Officer for Strategic Planning and Transformation. Aldrina's current portfolio includes Strategic Planning and Performance, Transformation and Capital Development including Estates. Aldrina's focus is on enabling the organisation to face some of the challenges of the future, to manage planning and performance and help the organisation through a wide range of transformational changes aligned with implementation of Horizon 2025. Prior to joining the Police Service, Aldrina worked in the Southern Health and Social Care Trust as Director of Performance and Reform. She has over 20 years previous experience in strategic planning and service transformation roles and has also worked in health provider and commissioner roles within public safety.

Bobby Singleton

Assistant Chief Constable Bobby Singleton is responsible for Local Policing Command. Assistant Chief Constable Bobby Singleton joined the Police Service of Northern Ireland as one of our first student officers in November 2001. Over the course of the last twenty years he has gained a broad range of policing experience in uniform community policing roles, public order and public safety command and as a detective investigating sexual violence, terrorism and other serious and organised crime. Between 2014 and 2016 as a Superintendent he was responsible for leading the delivery of community policing services for the city of Belfast and as a firearms and public order commander a series of complex and challenging multi-agency operations. From April 2016 to May 2019, then a Detective Superintendent, he was the service's lead for drugs, Organised Crime and the then newly established ‘Paramilitary Crime Task Force' with the National Crime Agency and Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs. On promotion to Detective Chief Superintendent he was first appointed as head of the Police Service of Northern's Legacy Investigation Branch in May 2019 before taking up a role as the head of Headquarters Executive Support in October 2020. In March 2021 ACC Singleton was temporarily appointed head of the Community Safety Department and responsible for public protection, crime prevention, criminal justice and custody matters. In December 2021 ACC Singleton graduated from the Strategic Command Course before being substantively appointed by the Northern Ireland Policing Board in January 2022. ACC Singleton holds a degree in modern history as well as a post graduate diploma and masters in police leadership and management. ACC Singleton is chair of the Police Athletic Association, a member of the Newforge Community Development trust and senior sponsor for the service's Autism support group.

Chris Todd

Assistant Chief Constable Chris Todd is responsible for the Operational Support Department. Assistant Chief Constable Chris Todd graduated as a Civil Engineer from the University of Birmingham in 1989 and having worked briefly in industry, joined the Police in Hong Kong in 1990. He worked in a number of roles there before specialising in counter narcotics and returning to join West Midlands Police in 1996. He was later seconded to the National Crime Squad as a Sergeant before transferring to the Serious Organised Crime Agency and later the National Crime Agency through to the rank of Superintendent; leading multi-agency national and global investigations focused on serious organised crime. He returned to West Midlands Police in 2014 on promotion to Chief Superintendent and commanded local policing units, the Intelligence Department, the Professional Standards Department and Counter Corruption. He was Temporary Assistant Chief Constable of Operations within West Midlands Police before attending the Strategic Command Course in 2021 after which he was appointed Assistant Chief Constable for the Police Service of Northern Ireland in March 2022. He has a Masters degree from the University of Central Lancashire in Cybercrime Investigations. Having delivered the first data science capability for UK policing in West Midlands Police he was asked to take on the National Police Chief Council's lead for Data Analytics and continues to hold that portfolio. He is also a Strategic Firearms Commander and Public Order Gold Commander.

Clare Duffield is the Assistant Chief Officer for People and Organisational Development for the Police Service of Northern Ireland. Clare Duffield joined the Police Service of Northern Ireland on 6 June 2022 as the Assistant Chief Officer for People and Organisational Development. Clare's portfolio includes Human Resources, Occupational Health and Wellbeing, Health and Safety and the Police College. Clare's focus is on working with the Senior Executive Team to enable the organisation to face some of the challenges for the future with particular emphasis on delivering a service that is representative, inclusive and resourced to meet the Policing needs of the public. Being responsible for the Police College, Clare's focus will be on helping to provide training and development that will equip officers and staff to deliver a professional policing service that also values the health and wellbeing of all. Prior to joining the Police Service of Northern Ireland Clare was the Director of Human Resources and Corporate Services in the Education Authority. She has also worked within a number of other organisations including Northern Health and Social Care Trust, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and B&Q plc. Clare has been a Chartered Member of the CIPD since May 2002 and a Chartered Fellow since February 2022.

Darrin Jones

Chief Superintendent Darrin Jones is the District Commander for Belfast. He has 30 years' service and previously served in Mid and East Antrim and Derry City and Strabane as a District Commander. The majority of his service has been in local policing delivery and he is particularly passionate about neighbourhood policing and community problem solving. He holds a business degree and recently completed a post graduate diploma in Leadership from Queen's University Belfast. He is also a graduate and member of the Leadership in Counter Terrorism (LINCT) alumni. He is the Police Service of Northern Ireland's lead for business crime and also holds a national portfolio for training and accrediting UK policing's response to crime in the maritime environment.

Deputy Chief Constable Mark Hamilton has specific responsibility for Operational Policing matters including Crime, Local Policing and Professional Standards. Deputy Chief Constable Mark Hamilton was appointed in February 2020 and has specific responsibility for Operational Policing matters including Crime and Local Policing. He also has overall responsibility for Professional Standards within the Police Service of Northern Ireland. Prior to his promotion Mark was the Assistant Chief Constable for District Policing Command and had responsibility for Response and Neighbourhood Policing and for Volume Crime across Northern Ireland. He has also previously held Command positions as Interim Director of Human Resources and Head of Legacy and Justice Department. Mark began his policing career in 1994. He has served in a wide range of posts around the Belfast and Armagh areas. He was Commander of Urban Region Operational Command Unit with responsibility for Roads Policing, Tactical Support Groups, Belfast Regional Control and Level II Crime. He has a BA (Hons) Degree in French and Latin from Trinity College, Dublin; a Masters in Social Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Queens University, Belfast; a Masters in Science in Police Leadership and Management from Leicester University; and a Masters in Human Rights Law at Queen's University, Belfast. In March 2009 he was promoted to Chief Superintendent and took on the role of District Commander for ‘A' District, North and West Belfast. In April 2012 he took up the role as Deputy Head of the Service Improvement Department where he had responsibility for Policing with The Community Branch, Criminal Justice Branch, Public Protection Branch, Anti-Corruption and Vetting, Discipline Branch, Firearms and Explosives Branch and Custody Healthcare. In July 2013, Mark was promoted to Assistant Chief Constable, Service Improvement Department.

Mark McEwan

Assistant Chief Constable Mark McEwan is responsible for the Crime Department. Mark has twenty-two years' policing experience. Leaving the Police Service of Northern Ireland in 2017, Mark moved to the Metropolitan Police Service in London joining the transformation team. He gained promotion to the rank of Commander leading on crime prevention, inclusion and engagement. In March 2020, Mark commenced a secondment with the Police Service of Northern Ireland as Assistant Chief Constable with responsibility for the newly formed Community Safety Department.

Mark McNaughten

Mark McNaughten is the Assistant Chief Officer for Corporate Services. He leads the provision of Finance and Support Services. Assistant Chief Officer Mark McNaughten, FCA CPFA C Dir FIoD Chartered FCIPD Dip (PD) Leadership and Mgmt, leads the provision of Corporate Services within the Police Service. This Department includes Financial Services, Fleet Services, ICT, Legal Services and Procurement and Logistics Services. Mark trained and qualified with KPMG as a Chartered Accountant in the early 1990s. He is now a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and a Chartered Public Finance Accountant. Mark is also qualified as a Chartered Director and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Directors together with becoming a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Most recently, Mark was awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Leadership and Management from the William J. Clinton Leadership Institute at Queen's University Belfast. Mark joined the Department of Health in 1996 and has worked in the wider public sector in Northern Ireland from then until now. Mark has experience in a range of Public Sector Bodies including Central Government Departments, Agencies and Non-Departmental Public Bodies - in both Policy and Operational areas. These roles have included virtually all aspects of Public Finances. He previously held the post of Finance Director in the Department of Education but joined the Police Service of Northern Ireland as Director of Finance in 2011. Since December 2015, Mark held the post of Temporary ACO for Corporate Services and was substantively appointed to that role in December 2021.

Mark Roberts

Chief Inspector Roberts joined the police in 1994 and has spent his entire career in Local Policing and Operational Support Department. He is currently Chief Inspector in Operations with responsibility for Events; Resourcing and Emergency Planning. As well as being a Silver Commander, he is also a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) on scene Commander and a coordinator for the Police Service Body Recovery Team. Prior to his role in Musgrave he served for 14 years in HQ Emergency Planning where he specialised in multi-agency preparedness and major incident response. In December 2020 Chief Inspector Roberts was awarded the QPM for Services to Policing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Pamela McCreedy is the Chief Operating Officer for the Police Service of Northern Ireland. Pamela McCreedy is an experienced senior public sector leader with a dedicated focus on improving public services for all. Her strong business acumen, demonstrated through working in complex service delivery organisations and a commitment to robust stakeholder engagement, has enabled her to deliver transformational reform through a focus on strategic change, business modernisation and ensuring value for money. Pamela was appointed as the first Chief Operating Officer of the NI Audit Office in 2017. She has led the organisation through strategic leadership, transformational and cultural change as well as being the Local Government Auditor. In 2015 Pamela was appointed the Director of Operations and Deputy Chief Executive for the Northern Health & Social Care Trust where she led service delivery, transformation change and organisation development across the Trust. In 2011 she was appointed Director of Transforming Your Care (TYC) by the Health & Social Care Board, where she led the reform of health and social care services in Northern Ireland. Pamela joined the South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust in 2009 as Assistant Director of Planning & Performance. Beginning her career at KPMG Pamela trained as a Chartered Accountant, becoming Director of Public Sector Advisory with specific responsibility for the criminal justice and health sectors. Pamela is the Vice President of Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI).

Temporary/Assistant Chief Constable Ryan Henderson is responsible for the Justice Department, encompassing Legacy and Disclosure Branch, Criminal Justice Branch, Contact Management, Custody Policy and Justice Healthcare. Ryan began his career in policing with the Derbyshire Constabulary in February 1997 before returning ‘home' to join the Police Service of Northern Ireland in 2007. He has served in senior leadership roles within Public Protection, Community Safety and Local Policing as well as having worked as Staff Officer to the Chief Constable. His most recent operational command was as Area Commander for Derry City & Strabane. Ryan also spent a year seconded to the NI Executive Department of Justice to support the development of cross-departmental community safety structures and the development of Multi Agency Support Hubs across Northern Ireland. He is an experienced Public Order Commander and a Multi-Agency CBRN Commander. Until recently, Ryan was a member of the Superintendents Association Executive and acted as a Trustee of the Police Retraining and Rehabilitation Trust in Northern Ireland and for the national Police Treatment Centres. Ryan is a Law graduate and holds a Masters Degree in Criminology. He has co-authored published articles on police use of Body Worn Video.

Superintendent Amanda Ford

Amanda began her Policing career in 2008, serving in various roles across uniform policing in Newry Mourne and Down and Mid Ulster Districts, before being promoted to the rank of Superintendent within Belfast District Senior Leadership Team in March 2022. She is now responsible for Operations within the greater Belfast area. Amanda was involved in the review of policing in South Armagh as the sector commander for the area in 2019, before her appointment to the Senior management team at Chief Inspector rank, where she remained committed to the implementation of the recommendations that followed. Amanda has recently completed a post graduate diploma in Leadership from Queens University, Belfast and has a strong desire to serve her community through close working relationships with partners, and the community themselves.
