Dave Barrett

Prior to working with Safety First, Dave was a Warrant Officer with the Grenadier Guards. After completing active service in the Gulf, he successfully went on to train the entire Royal Household for Royal Duties and Ceremonial occasions in London. Promoted to Regimental Sergeant Major, Dave assumed responsibility for Health and Safety. Amongst the many awards and accrediations during his career, Dave has received The Service Medal of Order from St. Johns Ambulance; CIEH CPD Certificate for Stress Awareness; Qualified First Aid Instructor; IOSH Trainer; Qualified CIEH Trainer in Advanced Food Hygiene and a Certificate of Accreditation from The Trainers' Charter. A member of various professional committees, holding positions of chairmanship providing consultation, problem solving and decision-making, Dave is a respected figure in his industry.
