SMART

This is the SMART website. SMART is Slaithwaite & Marsden Action on Rail Transport. We exist on a very small budget largely supplied by members. But are active in trying to promote better services for local people trying to use the train services for work and pleasure. Throughout 2018 & 2019 we have been very active in trying to undo the damage done by the unworkable May 2018 timetable and influencing the new timetable which was brought in from December 2019; and we continue to be active campaigning for full disabled access at Marsden and Slaithwaite stations.
