SKENE

Skene School is situated half a mile west of the village of Kirkton of Skene, with Westhill and Elrick creeping closer all the time. The view from the school playing field is of the Loch of Skene with the Tower Lodges of Dunecht Estate, which are featured in our School logo, in the foreground... The catchment area includes the villages of Kirkton of Skene and Garlogie and surrounding rural areas, as well as areas of Westhill and Elrick. The school liaises closely with the three local primary schools - Crombie, Elrick and Westhill and our local secondary school, Westhill Academy, to which the children transfer at the end of Primary 7.
