I am delighted that you are considering Thomas Alleyne's High School and hope that in reading our newsletter and accessing our website you will begin to get a sense of the opportunities available to young people at our school. However, whilst our website, prospectus and newsletters may give you some sense of our school, there is no better way to understand a school than to visit us... This would not have been possible if it were not for the work of one individual. Thomas Alleyne, our founder, died in 1558. In his will he set up 3 schools as he saw great value in supporting the advancement of education. These three schools, are all still in existence after more than four hundred years. It is an extraordinary legacy for an obscure 16th century country clergyman and one that can inspire all of our community.
