The Screes & The Strands Inn are buildings with two distinct characters and to match this difference we serve a different selection of our craft ales and food in each... The Strands Inn and Screes Inn, two traditional Inns that have been the heart of the Wasdale Community since the mid-1700s. A great place for craft ales (brewed in our own brewery), vegan and vegetarian food, meals made from local produce and just 4 miles from the summit of Scafell Pike and less than 2 miles from Waswater and the UK's favourite view.
