HAPPY EGG

In 2021, we were made aware of footage released by vegan campaigners which questioned our quality standards and our claims. The welfare of our hens is of the upmost importance to us, and we work hard to maintain and exceed welfare standards with any producer who supplies our Happy Eggs. Our hens have free access to their ranges every day and come back into their barn at night; our hens have access to at least one hectare (2.47 acres) of range per 2,000 hens, plus, we provide our hens with additional tree cover and play kits for enhanced shelter and enrichment... An animals rights group also asked the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) to investigate some of our marketing claims and we're pleased to confirm that the ASA found our statements to be true and representative of the welfare we provide our hens.
