Woodlands is registered as a Residential Care Home for Older People and People suffering from Dementia. The home is fully centrally heated and complies with all structural and safety requirements including: fire alarms, smoke detectors and emergency lighting throughout. A 3 passengers lift services to the first floor enabling residents to move easily about the entire building without the necessity to negotiate stairs... Our aim is to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, psychological and cultural needs of our service users through individual care to enable them to live as normal as possible. At the same time we acknowledge and safeguard their rights to privacy, dignity, individuality, choice and independence... At Woodlands, we always adhere to the principle that the needs of the service users are paramount. We offer them the opportunity to enhance their quality of life by providing a safe, manageable and comfortable environment.
