Andrea is an experienced independent nurse prescriber. She qualified in 1991 from the school of nursing at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. She has a diploma in asthma and COPD, anticoagulation, diabetes and women's health. Andrea has also trained in minor illness including: Obtaining histories, performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illness, prescribing medication, ordering diagnostic tests and providing patient education.
Axel is our North Hardwick and Bolsover Primary Care Networks (PCN) Mental Health Practioner.

Chrissie is our Patient Care Administrator who helps to coordinate appointments, health checks and education services within the practice.
Clare is an experienced healthcare assistant who is happy to help where able. Her responsibilities include, taking blood, blood pressure readings, certain injections, chronic disease checks, learning disability health reviews and many more.

Dr Rafferty qualified from Glasgow University in 2001. Dr Rafferty has worked in a variety of hospital specialities before completing her GP training in 2013.
Dr Harrington is a member of the team who joined us in 2020. She qualified as a doctor in 2013 at the University of Sheffield. She helps coordinate our palliative care services.
Dr Bentley qualified in 2000 from Sheffield and has a special interest in diabetes and family planning. She is able to deal with contraceptive coils and contraceptive implants. Dr Bentley is also a GP trainer to our GP registrars.
Dr Hickman is one of the Partners and qualified in 1993 from Cambridge and has special interests in epilepsy, genitourinary medicine and family planning. Dr Hickman is a GP trainer to our GP registrars.
Dr Rastrick is a new member of the GP team who joined us in 2023 and qualified from Sheffield Medical School in 2018
Dr Flinders qualified in 1999 from Leicester. Dr Flinders has a special interest in child protection.
Dr Hasan qualified as a doctor in 2010 from Ziauddin University in Pakistan. He has worked in Surgery for most part since his graduation before training as a GP with us and then to finally join the team as a salaried GP in 2023
Dr Sproson qualified in Sheffield in 2013. He joined the team in 2019 and is a GP Partner. He has interests in palliative care and family planning. He is able to deal with contraceptive coils, contraceptive implants as well as joint injections. He is also a GP trainer for our GP Registrars.
Dr Trinh started working at the practice as a salaried GP in 2016. Dr Trinh has a special interest in frailty and safeguarding for vulnerable adults. Dr Trinh became a partner in October 2019.
Ellie is our Advanced Nurse Practitioner who has an interest in respiratory conditions. She currently sees patients with minor illnesses and injuries. Ellie completed her Advance Clinical Practice masters in 2023 and has completed short courses in Paediatric Assessment and Enhanced Palliative Care.
Emma is a registered nurse proficient in childhood immunisations, ring pessaries, cervical smears, phlebotomy, ECGs and INR monitoring. Emma is a non-medical prescriber. Emma went to the university of Sheffield and graduated with an advanced diploma in adult nursing in 2004. Emma then went on to do a BSC (Hons) in adult nursing in 2012 and a BSC in General Practice Nursing in 2015. She also has an interest in chronic disease management such as asthma, diabetes, COPD and high blood pressure.

Kirsty is a new member of the reception team who is happy to help where able.
Laura is our new practice pharmacist, who is a qualified independent prescriber. She has a particular interest in blood pressure control, menopause and HRT as well as medicines optimisation.

Rebecca recently joined the surgery in June 2023 to become a part of the clinical team at Welbeck Road. Her main interests are cardiology and respiratory systems but enjoys all aspects of General Practice, and will be working towards becoming an Advanced Clinical Practitioner. Rebecca started her career in the Ambulance Service in 2015, and most recently as a Senior Clinical Leader within the Derbyshire division.
