Nicole Crooks

Nicole has been a qualified and registered Veterinary Nurse for nearly twenty years, been providing puppy socialisation classes for twelve years and over the past five years gained an ESPVS Nurse Certificate in Animal Behaviour and a COAPE Diploma in the Practical Aspects of Companion Animal Training and Behaviour. Keen to expand her knowledge Nicole has gained a BSc (Hons) Degree in Applied Animal Behaviour via Portsmouth University in 2017. Nicole currently has two dogs, Kip and Tyler. She obtained Kip from rescue six years ago, he came to her with very limited social exposure, showing huge reactive behaviours towards anything novel, most things in fact! Tyler, is a 3 year old terrier x chihuahua who is a key member of the Pets in Practise team, accompanying Nicole on some behaviour sessions to improve the confidence of the shy/fearful reactive dogs. Nicole covers all behavioural consultations (feline & canine) as well as 1-2-1 training appointments. Nicole also instructs at the ever successful Reactive Rovers course.
