Phil Nock was born in Birmingham and raised in Telford, Shropshire. His interest in photography came when his second daughter was born in July 2005. This is when Phil purchased his first digital point & shoot camera. Although a 'high street' product, Phil managed to capture really great shots of his daughter, family & friends and so invested in his first Digital SLR, a Nikon D80. Although photography started as a hobby, it soon became his main interest and in January 2009, Phil started his own business with Phil Nock Photography.
