Smart Design is an independent design/consultation operation started in 2001 to explore the opportunity in the area of growing radio integrated circuits applications. The operation is intended to provide the following service to the radio development / manufacture industry... Starting from 2003, Smart Design had been focused on the feasibility of implementing a single chip radio tuner integrated circuit for the newly proposed European DRM digital broadcast system as well as operating as a traditional AM/FM radio receiver, also with the possibility of extending the design as an universal tuner integrated circuit for the worldwide terrestrial digital audio broadcast system.
