Christian Day is a Consultant Orthodontist at Bristol Dental Hospital. He is also an honorary clinical lecturer the University of Bristol. His consultant role involves the management of patients with complex malocclusions. This includes regular multidisciplinary clinics with OMFS, Oral Surgery, and Restorative Dentistry colleagues. The consultation and multidisciplinary clinics are attended by postgraduate students from many specialties and undergraduate students.

Damian Korzuch

Damian is a registered Specialist in Oral Surgery with more than 20 years' post-qualification experience in private practice and public health care. He started his career with eight years in a hospital maxillofacial ward performing a range of surgical procedures. Latterly he has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry and a strong foundation in general dentistry. Damian also has advanced training in dental implants and in the provision of high standard aesthetic solutions with the emphasis on pink tissue rehabilitation.

Dr Bhagy Batchu

Dr Bhagy Batchu has been working as a Consultant in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology (DMFR) at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, London since 2014 and was a Clinical Lead in DMFR from 2014 to 2021. After graduating BDS in 2000 in India, she has worked in busy teaching hospitals, there for 5 years before moving to UK. She started her career in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology in 2002 in India and then followed by the Clinical Teacher post in Dental Radiology at the Kings College London in 2006. She then undertook UK Specialist Training in Dental Radiology in Scotland for 4 years and returned back to London as a Consultant DMFR.

Elizabeth King

Elizabeth is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Bristol Dental School. She is Clinical Lead for the undergraduate programme in Restorative Dentistry and leads part of the Masters in Dental Implantology. She graduated from Bristol University and went on to complete further training in dental practice and hospital rotations. During this time, Elizabeth achieved her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons of the Royal College of Surgeons, before starting her five-year specialist and consultant training. Elizabeth was appointed as a specialist registrar in Wales where she completed a five year full-time specialist training programme in Restorative Dentistry. This included training in Periodontology, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Implants and managing complex referral cases in hospital. In 2018 Elizabeth was awarded her Fellowship of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons. Elizabeths main clinical interests include management of peri-implant diseases, dental implants, prosthodontics, dental implants, management of tooth wear and aesthetic dentistry. In her consultant post she has an interest in treating patients with hypondontia and other dental anomalies. Outside of her clinical work, Elizabeth has a keen interest in dental education, and teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as qualified dentists professionals. She enjoys sharing her scientific knowledge and has presented at national and international scientific meetings, and has published numerous articles in dental journals. When not working Elizabeth enjoys a busy family life with her husband and children.

Pratik Patel

Pratik was awarded his undergraduate degree from Cardiff where he gained a first-class honours in his Batchelor of Dental Surgery degree. Since qualifying he has worked as a Senior House Officer in oral surgery and in in paediatric dentistry at The Eastman Dental Institute in London. Subsequently, Pratik has practiced as a general dental practitioner and implant dentist. In 2018 he completed his MSc in Dental Implantology, in which he gained a distinction. Pratik joined the team at The Dental Implant Clinic in January 2019. Pratik is the study club director for The Young Dentists Study Club, designed to promote excellence in teaching for younger dentists in the region.

Rippon Sanghera

Rippon qualified in Dentistry from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' in London in 2003. She had an interest in surgery and this led to her spending 10 years training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She spent 5 years as a Specialty Doctor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in various hospitals in the South East including Royal London Hospital, where she was also a Honorary Clinical lecturer and involved in undergraduate dental training. In this time, she also obtained her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In 2012 at a London Conference, Rippon was awarded the Associate Fellow's Prize by the British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, for the best presentation of a clinical study, she had conducted in third molar surgery at the Royal London Hospital. She has been an examiner for the General Dental Council/Royal College of Surgeons England for 11 years, examining overseas dentists and continues to examine. Through Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Rippon's interest in jaw surgery, this led her to specialise in Orthodontics. She undertook higher Specialist training at Birmingham Dental Hospital. As part of her training, she also completed a Masters in Research, looking at the self-esteem and quality of life in patients undergoing jaw surgery. She was awarded a Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and is recognised as a Specialist in Orthodontics with the General Dental Council. After qualifying, she continues to work as a Specialist at Birmingham Dental Hospital, where she deals with an array of complex cases including surgical as part of a multi-disciplinary Consultant led team. Rippon works in Private Practice with a keen interest in Aesthetic Orthodontics treating Adults and Children from mild to complex cases. She uses an array of Aesthetic systems including Invisalign and is experienced in Invisalign Teen. She loves keeping up to date with the constant changes and advancement in Orthodontics including digital systems, designed to make life easier for patients and making that new smile easily accessible. Rippon has a real passion for her work and in creating a caring and friendly environment to support patients through their treatment and make the smile journey as easy as possible.
