Young & Battaglia studio design studio was founded by anglo-Italian design duo Brendan Young and Vanessa Battaglia both trained in Industrial design. Young at the University of Plymouth in the UK and Battaglia at ISIA in Rome, Italy. The couple met during a university exchange in 2000 and made their debut show in 2003 at the Milan furniture Fair with their acclaimed ‘Sustainability with a smile' collection using upcycled and repurposed materials (initially under the name Studiomold, then later as Young & Battaglia). Since then their body of work has included a wide variety of creative disciplines from interior design, landscapes, product design, to graphics and art direction and they are the founding partners of iconic British interiors brand Mineheart...
