Moving Up was set up to minimise these transitional issues with packages of support ranging from 24 hours a day, seven days a week to a couple of hours a day. We ensure that the young people we work with have the best chance of success by providing them with very good accommodation and a committed staff team to present consistent boundaries, designed to meet their differing needs. This combined with our detailed working systems ensure that all progress is evidenced thoroughly... At Moving Up we like to think of ourselves as a little bit different to other leaving care providers. Our ethos and approach has been built up organically over the last four years... As we specialised in leaving care, we were able to devise systems and strategies that dealt with the stresses presented to a young person, whilst leaving care in a controlled environment.
