Andrew Yorks - Chief Investment Officer

Andrew Yorks is Chief Investment Officer with Resolution Life US where he is responsible for the overall management of the company's $30 billion investment portfolio. He is part of Resolution Life's nine-member leadership squad which is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of Resolution Life's US market and plays an important role with the other platform CIOs in developing the Group's investment strategy and process. Andrew has nearly 30 years of experience in investments and was most recently Senior Vice President, Head of Alternatives and Private Debt Strategies at Lincoln Financial Group where he oversaw $18B of private equity, hedge fund and private debt strategies, and 20 manager relationships for Lincoln's general account. During his tenure he built diversified portfolios within an asset liability driven framework while selecting and monitoring managers to execute investment strategies for a broad array of insurance products. He also led the investment team analysis in Lincoln's acquisition of Liberty Life Assurance Company of Boston. Prior to Lincoln Financial Group, he held leadership positions at several asset managers including BlackRock and Alliance Capital. Andrew has an undergraduate degree from Lehigh University and an MBA in Finance and Management from New York University.

Carrie Baker - CHRO

Carrie joined Resolution Life US in September 2023 and serves as a member of the company's executive leadership team. She has more than 20 years of experience building and managing large-scale human resource strategies. Prior to joining RLUS, Carrie worked at U.S. Bank as Executive Vice President and Head of Human Resources for Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking. She also spent several years as Senior Vice President of HR at Wells Fargo and its predecessor organization, Wachovia. Carrie earned a B.A. in psychology from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington and an M.A. in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. She is a board member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Charlotte, a member of Women Executives of Charlotte, and a mentor for Wings for Growth, an organization supporting the development of women who aspire to be leaders.

Claire Singleton - Chief Legal Officer

Claire has an MA in Law from the University of Cambridge.

Conor Murphy

Conor joined Resolution Life US in 2022. In his most recent position, Conor was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Brighthouse Financial. He was responsible for all financial and operational matters, product and business development, and the ongoing execution of the Brighthouse financial strategy. Prior to joining Brighthouse Financial, he held multiple senior positions at MetLife including the CFO for MetLife's Latin America region. Prior to that, he led MetLife's international strategic planning organisation, responsible for global business strategy including M&A in international markets. He was also CFO for MetLife's EMEA region, Head of Investor Relations, and CFO of MetLife Investments. Conor joined MetLife from PwC in New York, and began his career at Grant Thornton in Dublin, Ireland and is a certified public accountant and chartered accountant by background.

Jason Carne

Jason currently works as an independent non-executive director for several Bermuda based reinsurers having previously acted as Partner, CFO and Head of Bermuda for an SEC registered Investment advisor focused primarily in the reinsurance sector. Prior to this Jason was a partner and then managing director at KPMG in Bermuda where he worked for approximately 25 years across reinsurance market sectors. Jason graduated from Southampton University with a B.Sc. in Economics and Politics. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Bermuda. Jason is also a Qualified Associate in Reinsurance.

Jonathan was previously deputy CEO and CFO of Aviva France, after serving as the general manager of the Heritage division of Friends Life. Prior to that, Jonathan was group CEO of Phoenix Group after having roles as CEO of Pearl Group Limited and as CFO of Phoenix. Jonathan has held roles in AMP, as chief actuary, as well as serving as appointed actuary for a number of AMP's U.K. businesses. Jonathan has a Bachelor of Science and Master of Philosophy in Economics from the University of Wales. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Karl Happe

Previously Karl worked at Allianz for 17 years first as Head of Global Fixed Income Strategy and then as Chief Investment Officer for insurance and regulated clients with Allianz Global Investors. Karl and his team managed 140 billion of Allianz and third party assets, invested in fixed income, private debt, equity and derivatives portfolios. He started his career at Morgan Stanley in New York, Frankfurt and London, where he was a private equity analyst and fixed income derivatives structurer and trader. He also he worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company before joining Allianz in Munich. Karl has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Maria sits on the Board of Helen Keller International, is the Development Chair for Catholic Charities Archdiocese New York and is the National Board Chair of All Stars Project, Inc.

Megan has nearly 30 years' experience in the financial services industry, spanning executive, operational, finance, actuarial and consulting roles at AMP, NAB/MLC, Tower (now TAL) and Tillinghast (Consulting Actuaries). Megan's prior roles have included CEO AMP Life, Group Executive Insurance and Strategy at AMP and General Manager Bancassurance & Direct and General Manager Group Insurance at NAB/MLC. Megan is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia, a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, holds a Master of Economics from Macquarie University, a Master of Business Administration (Executive) from the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of New South Wales, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. A trained actuary, Nardeep began his insurance career at consultancy firm Watson. He also previously worked in capital markets at Sumitomo Bank and Deutsche Bank. While at Deutsche Bank he was CEO and CIO of Abbey Life and was on the board of Paternoster. Nardeep has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Statistics from the University of Nottingham and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and Associate Member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.

Raghib Muhammad - CIO

Raghib Muhammad is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer where he is responsible for standing-up the technology team and infrastructure to support the creation of Resolution Life US. He is part of Resolution Life's nine-member leadership squad which is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of Resolution Life's US market; and he works closely with the leadership squad to link IT and business strategies while leading advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI to improve business outcomes and implement value-added change initiatives. Before joining Resolution Life, Raghib was the Senior Information Officer for the retirement business at Equitable, a leading Individual Annuity and Retirement Plan company. In this role he led a multi-year Agile transformation significantly improving accountability, autonomy, staff engagement, innovation, and overall efficiency across various disciplines within IT while improving business outcomes. He expanded the use of modern technologies such as RPA (Robotics Process Automation), AI, Speech Analytics, Data Analytics, Digital Portals, APIs, and Cloud based services to improve the customer and distributor experience as well as increase overall productivity for Individual and Group Retirement business operations. Prior to Equitable, Raghib served in several roles, increasing in scope and responsibility, at AXA, where he led a multi-year technology driven transformation of AXA's property & casualty business in Mexico in his last position as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of AXA in Mexico. Raghib holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from NED Engineering University in Karachi, Pakistan and an M.S. in Computer Science from Montclair State University in New Jersey.

Rushabh Ranavat

Simon has advised numerous globally significant insurance groups with respect to financial strategy, acquisitions and divestments, debt and equity financing, capital management and solutions and complex group issues. Clive is regarded as a leading life insurance executive and has significant experience in acquiring closed block life insurance businesses. He has held Board-level roles in all prior Resolution vehicles since 2003. Prior to 2003, Clive was Chairman and Chief Executive of GE Insurance Holdings, GE's primary insurance operations in Europe, with over $3bn of premium income at that time. The businesses he led while at GE had operations in 12 countries. Before joining GE in 1998, he co-founded J Rothschild International / Scottish Amicable International, a cross-border insurance business based in Dublin. He started his career in insurance advising clients as a broker. He served as a Non-Executive Director of Resolution Limited, a UK-listed life insurance Group which subsequently became the Friends Life Group PLC. It was listed on the London Stock Exchange and was a constituent of the FTSE 100 index. He stepped down from this position in 2013. Clive is Chairman and founder of the Resolution Foundation, a non-profit research organisation focused on the needs of low earners in industrialised countries.

Steve Hales - CEO

Steve is a financial services executive with nearly thirty years of international experience. Steve joined Resolution Life Group as head of Europe in 2018 and was appointed CEO of Resolution Re in September 2019. Steve joined Resolution Life Group from Assicurazioni Generali, where he held various senior positions including group head of connected insurance. In that role, Steve was responsible for the group's data science and internet of things capabilities. This experience ignited Steve's passion for the application of advanced data analytics and technology solutions to insurance businesses. Previously, Steve was head of the life business for AXA Spain and later head of the life and health business for AXA's Southern Europe, Latin America and Middle East and North Africa markets, where he had both operational and strategic responsibilities. Steve started his career as an actuarial consultant in Tillinghast, where he worked in the London and Madrid offices. Steve studied philosophy, politics and economics at Oxford University. He is a Fellow of the UK Institute of Actuaries.
