Stephen Ryan - Founder, Managing Director
has had a long and successful career in the European broadcast industry. He was part of the initial launch team at Pirate FM102 in Devon and Cornwall where he was Programme and Operations Manager up until 1997. Stephen was then appointed Head of Business Development at the radio division of the Daily Mail and General Trust (DMGT) plc, a FTSE 100 company, while they spearheaded a move into radio in the UK, Australia, Sweden and Hungary.
In 2000, he joined SBS Radio, part of SBS Broadcasting SA, a TV and Radio operator across Europe. As Operations Director he oversaw the development of radio stations in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Holland and Greece.
Using his considerable experience in market research and its proven use in building market leading status across Europe, he formed Ryan Media and Research Ltd in 2003.
