WGL Stoneclean was founded by Terry Coleman in 1972 under the name Wessgold. It has traded under this name until the early nineties when the name was shortened to WGL Ltd. Over the last thirty years it has established itself as one of the leading stone cleaning companies in the North of England. The company was acquired in 2004 by Bernard Coleman (no relation!) and a minority shareholder with the overall objective of growing the company and introducing the newer technologies that are required in today's marketplace... Electronic Repair Mortar Matching - ERM - With the help of Leeds University and the Department of Polymer and Colour Chemistry we have developed a device that allows us to use "point" the machine at masonry and the software will give us the recipe of pigments we should use to colour match - Please see ERM document in the header above for more information.
