Ashley is a mum of 1 (also called Jake!) She is caring and supportive to staff and customers who require assistance with issues, personal and professional with an unprecedented dedication and resilience to her work.
She has a new found passion for baking - always a winner in the office.
I have worked in the transport industry for nearly 10 years. Starting as a flt driver to my current roll as warehouse supervisor.
I am responsible for the smooth running of the night operation, making sure night drivers get back ok, the warehouse runs efficiently, and that the day operation can start well. I consider myself a team player and love a challenge. Any job given to me I embrace.
I have a few hobbies , I like strategy games , landscaping , woodwork and dare I say it …..work! I am not afraid of getting my hands dirty
There are a few things that spring to mind about Gina; organised, thorough, an eye for detail and always willing to help.
She is a real team player and very respected within the workplace .
Overall it is a real pleasure to work with Gina with a combination of true professionalism and the RED pen
I have been in Transport for 25 years working for different companies and driving all over England. I am hard working and would never ask someone to do something I wouldn't do myself. I don't mind getting my hands dirty, I have lived locally to Abacus in Hemel Hempstead for 18 years and used to be a door supervisor. I have supported Liverpool since I was 8 and my hobbies are going to the gym and playing poker.
Robert works in the accounts department, a friendly and resourceful worker, and is working towards his Level 4 AAT (Association of Accounts Technicians).
At work, I enjoy monitoring timed deliveries as it's fun to track the progress of them. I also enjoy communicating with customers, as working at Abacus for so long has helped build relationships. I am enthusiastic and always willing to face a daily challenge.
Sean joined the team in October 2021 to run the traffic desk after many years in the transport industry.
He enjoys the daily challenges that the traffic desk brings and is always willing to pitch in wherever needed.
Sean lives a tee-total, no smoking, non swearing, jigsaw puzzle solving rock ‘n' roll lifestyle and is just waiting for his big lottery win before retiring and buying a tractor and muddy field to play in!
He enjoys most sports and still lives off the glory of being the 1986 Hillingdon District obstacle race champion though nowadays settles for the more sedate pace at the golf course.
FORS practitioner, CPC National holder, SIGMA green belt, first aid and fire marshal, ADR type 1&2 and also achieving a CSE grade 1 in geography. An all round know it all !!! He is the kindest and most generous colleague, has the patience of a saint with the calmest manner. He can multi task and problem solve with ease. We enjoy working with Stuart and have often wondered what we would change about him …… it will definitely be his wardrobe - Sorry Stu
