We believe that every deaf child and every family has a unique set of needs and DCUK is here to help you navigate and explore the choices that are available to you, so that you can make an informed choice... We support parents of deaf children to make the best CHOICE(S) for Language, Literacy and Communication. We are the only charity offering training and support in Cued Speech... We have changed our name to reflect our philosophy and our ethos. We are here to support parents of a deaf child (of which 90% of parents are hearing) to understand, embrace and learn how to best meet the unique needs of their deaf child.
