LAUNDRY COTTAGE STUD

Laundry Cottage Stud is a family business owned and run by Melba and Colin Bryce with help from daughter Gina, a renowned presenter on Sky Sports Racing, BBC Radio Five Live and her brother and sister Calum and Ailsa. Alex Elliott, Gina's husband is the Stud Manager... The Mares and foals are handled everyday but remain outside other than in particularly indecent weather. We have stabling for 44 as well as shelters within the fields. We aim to produce healthy, robust racehorses and we believe that our regime of care, combined with excellent pasture, delivers superior stock... We are a small stud located in North Hertfordshire and have been operating since 2003. We run mares and foals on 90 acres of gently sloping light clay underlain by chalk. We currently have 11 bloodstock mares on the stud and 6 horses in training. All stock is produced for public sales at foal and yearling auctions in Ireland, France and the UK.
