MARTIN GOODE WATERCOLOURS

Martin Goode was born in London and showed interest in sketching and cartooning from his early schooldays. As a teenager, he lived in Tillicoultry in Scotland for 5 years, which inspired his passion for the rugged British countryside. His non-stop drawing and cartooning soon turned to painting which he continued to study in his home county of Essex, England... Martin's career started as a photographer, then a commercial artist and graphic designer, and in 1983 he founded a printing company, Speedprint, which still flourishes today. The combination of art, photography and printing paved the way to form Images of Britain in Watercolour by Martin Goode in 1987 publishing fine art prints depicting scenes of British and Irish cities, towns, villages and landmarks... Images of Britain in Watercolour by Martin Goode boasts the largest catalogue of local views and Irish watercolour prints available in the UK with over 1800 published titles, and Martin Goode's original paintings adorn homes..
