Alan Kiernan

Alan Kiernan is an experienced Environmental Scientist at ORS. As the joint lead of the environmental team, Alan brings extensive knowledge and skills in wastewater treatment, waste management, flood risk assessment, and environmental policy and regulations. With his strong expertise, Alan has successfully managed contaminated land projects and worked with regulatory authorities in Ireland and the UK on policy development, enforcement initiatives, and licensing compliance. He has contributed to several notable projects, including biogas facility planning, waste facility permit applications, and environmental compliance management at medium to large EPA Licenced sites in the heavy industry and pharmaceutical sectors.

Andrew Murphy - Chairman

Andrew is well known across Ireland's startup and entrepreneurial community. A Chemical Engineer and formerly Chemical Plant Manager with Henkel KGAA for the first part of his career, Andrew founded a healthcare technology startup, Slainte Healthcare, in 2006. Over time this grew into two entities, one Claimsure being sold to Clanwilliam Health in 2015 after establishing itself as the central platform for Revenue Cycle Management across the Irish Health System. The second, Vitro Software, is an electronic medical record platform that has scaled internationally. Andrew was nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year in 2014. Since 2016, Andrew has assisted numerous companies in scaling internationally. In addition, he has helped found and grow Robotify Labs, a rapidly growing ed-tech and robotics simulation company.

Brian Collentine

Damian Kenny

Daniel Fennell

Daniel is a Senior Energy Engineer at ORS, bringing over five years of post-graduate experience to the team. His areas of expertise include building regulation compliance, energy auditing, and SEAI grant support for residential and commercial projects. However, Daniel's impact extends beyond his technical abilities. He is also playing a key role in Ireland's energy revolution, working with citizens, businesses, communities, and government to transform how we generate and use energy. In recent years, Daniel has specialised in the deep retrofitting of residential projects. He has also been involved in Building Energy Ratings (BER) for both domestic and non-domestic buildings since 2017. Deirdre McShane

Deirdre McShane is the Registered Building Surveyor and leads the building surveyor team at ORS, bringing over fifteen years of experience in building surveying and project management to the role. Her expertise spans the construction and commercial building consulting sectors in Ireland and New Zealand. In addition to her technical expertise, Deirdre is also focused on developing her team to ensure they provide the highest quality service to their clients. She leads a diverse range of surveying services; these include building condition surveys, schedules of condition and dilapidation, technical due diligence reports, long-term maintenance plans, maintenance management, and building regulatory advice. Since joining ORS in 2020, she has led the Building Surveying Team to new heights in the industry.

Finbarr Stuart

John McKeefry

With 15 years of experience working for Belfast City Council, John has an in-depth understanding of both Northern and Southern Irish regulations, making him a valuable asset to ORS clients. During his tenure at the council, John spent ten years as a Building Control Surveyor before advancing to the position of Senior Building Control. In this role, John was involved in large-scale residential projects in private and public fields, community hubs in deprived areas, hotels, and film studios on reclaimed land. Since joining ORS, John has worked on a variety of projects, including schools, residential developments, large-scale warehouse developments, and nursing homes. With his vast knowledge of building regulations, John takes pride in building strong relationships with clients through honesty and timely, competent work on his projects. His experience working in the public sector has given him a unique perspective on project management, and he is an excellent mentor to his colleagues. Luke Martin
