Alan Kiernan is an experienced Environmental Scientist at ORS. As the joint lead of the environmental team, Alan brings extensive knowledge and skills in wastewater treatment, waste management, flood risk assessment, and environmental policy and regulations. With his strong expertise, Alan has successfully managed contaminated land projects and worked with regulatory authorities in Ireland and the UK on policy development, enforcement initiatives, and licensing compliance. He has contributed to several notable projects, including biogas facility planning, waste facility permit applications, and environmental compliance management at medium to large EPA Licenced sites in the heavy industry and pharmaceutical sectors.
Andrew is well known across Ireland's startup and entrepreneurial community. A Chemical Engineer and formerly Chemical Plant Manager with Henkel KGAA for the first part of his career, Andrew founded a healthcare technology startup, Slainte Healthcare, in 2006. Over time this grew into two entities, one Claimsure being sold to Clanwilliam Health in 2015 after establishing itself as the central platform for Revenue Cycle Management across the Irish Health System. The second, Vitro Software, is an electronic medical record platform that has scaled internationally. Andrew was nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year in 2014. Since 2016, Andrew has assisted numerous companies in scaling internationally. In addition, he has helped found and grow Robotify Labs, a rapidly growing ed-tech and robotics simulation company.

Cormac Geoghegan is an experienced project manager who worked extensively in contract and project management. As a chartered structural engineer, he has led large multidisciplinary teams in the construction and utilities industry for over 15 years. As the former Project Management Lead of ORS, Cormac excelled in working closely with clients to ensure their needs were consistently met. He has now moved into a commercially focussed role as he has gained a unique understanding of how to provide a premium service to our clients.
Damian joined ORS with a wealth of experience in the construction and related industries. As the Commercial Manager, he is responsible for developing and implementing a robust commercial development strategy to ensure ORS achieves its growth targets. This includes managing sales, client care, and account management and working closely with the tender team to secure new business opportunities. Damian's expertise in the construction industry allows him to work closely with all ORS team members and develop strong partnerships to achieve commercial success. Daniel is a Senior Energy Engineer at ORS, bringing over five years of post-graduate experience to the team. His areas of expertise include building regulation compliance, energy auditing, and SEAI grant support for residential and commercial projects.
However, Daniel's impact extends beyond his technical abilities. He is also playing a key role in Ireland's energy revolution, working with citizens, businesses, communities, and government to transform how we generate and use energy.
In recent years, Daniel has specialised in the deep retrofitting of residential projects. He has also been involved in Building Energy Ratings (BER) for both domestic and non-domestic buildings since 2017. As the energy lead at ORS,, he has successfully completed energy management projects on behalf of clients and is experienced in providing training to his teams.

Darren Holmes is a highly accomplished Director at ORS with a wealth of experience in project management and building surveying. As a Chartered Engineer and qualified project manager, Darren has successfully led some of Ireland's most prestigious construction projects, developing a solid team of project managers, building and land surveyors who deliver with speed and dependability.

Deirdre McShane is the Registered Building Surveyor and leads the building surveyor team at ORS, bringing over fifteen years of experience in building surveying and project management to the role. Her expertise spans the construction and commercial building consulting sectors in Ireland and New Zealand.
In addition to her technical expertise, Deirdre is also focused on developing her team to ensure they provide the highest quality service to their clients. She leads a diverse range of surveying services; these include building condition surveys, schedules of condition and dilapidation, technical due diligence reports, long-term maintenance plans, maintenance management, and building regulatory advice. Since joining ORS in 2020, she has led the Building Surveying Team to new heights in the industry.

With 15 years of experience working for Belfast City Council, John has an in-depth understanding of both Northern and Southern Irish regulations, making him a valuable asset to ORS clients.
During his tenure at the council, John spent ten years as a Building Control Surveyor before advancing to the position of Senior Building Control. In this role, John was involved in large-scale residential projects in private and public fields, community hubs in deprived areas, hotels, and film studios on reclaimed land. Since joining ORS, John has worked on a variety of projects, including schools, residential developments, large-scale warehouse developments, and nursing homes.
With his vast knowledge of building regulations, John takes pride in building strong relationships with clients through honesty and timely, competent work on his projects. His experience working in the public sector has given him a unique perspective on project management, and he is an excellent mentor to his colleagues. With extensive experience at mac-Interiors and John Sisk & Sons and a background as a skilled carpenter and joiner, Seán brings a wealth of expertise to his role.
Throughout his career, Seán has successfully led and delivered numerous high-end, aggressive CAT A and CAT B fit-out and construction projects in Dublin and beyond. He has also worked extensively in construction and residential construction, providing a well-rounded understanding of the industry.
Seán is known for his ability to motivate his team to achieve their best and for his flexibility in overcoming challenges while maintaining a calm and steady demeanour. He is committed to excellence in reporting procedures and attention to detail on projects while never losing sight of the big picture. Most importantly, Seán prioritises health & safety and ensures that it remains at the forefront of everyone's minds.
Co-Founder and Partner, Erisbeg, a leading Irish Private Equity firm established in 2017. Erisbeg is an Irish growth capital investor, focussed on high performing service businesses with international growth potential and invested in ORS in December 2022. Prior to Erisbeg, Thomas had a long career in the PLC arena as a senior executive with DCC PLC (Dublin-headquartered FTSE 100 Group) where he was responsible for the Environmental division. He was involved since the division's inception to its leading position in the Irish and British markets. Thomas's early career was with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a Chartered Accountant with an M.Acc and B.Comm from University College Dublin.
Tom is a Chartered Accountant and the Financial Director at ORS. Tom comes from an accountancy practice background and has experience in various industries, including construction, retail and financial services.
As Financial Director, Tom plays a crucial role in the company's strategic growth. He advises the senior leadership team on key financial decisions and oversees the finance team to ensure the company's financial operations run smoothly. Tom's expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis provides the leadership team with valuable insights into the company's financial performance and informs business strategy.
