The business was established by Richard Kihl in the late 1960s. Richard Kihl Ltd was incorporated as a company in 1969. The company was one of the first fine wine brokers, trading from premises in Regents Park Road in North London, where for a time, it also dealt in wine antiques and accessories... We also import direct from small domaines in Burgundy, the Rhône, Champagne, Italy, Spain, Germany and the New World, as well as old Madeira and Vintage Port. With over fifty years of experience in buying, selling and storing fine wine, Richard Kihl Ltd is a trusted and respected name in fine wine... In 1994 Richard moved the business to Aldeburgh in Suffolk, where we continue to trade to this day. In 2001 the ownership changed when Richard retired and Antony Irvine purchased the company.
