Danielle Pinnion

Danielle joined Health for All in 2020 as the Team Leader/Co-ordinator for the ‘Raising Aspirations' project in south Leeds. Danielle is now the centre Manager of Tenants Hall and Cranmore & Raylands. "I graduated from university with a degree in Psychology and began volunteering with young people. I have worked within the criminal justice system for the last fifteen years, from prisons, to probation and most recently within the community. This involved working with ex-offenders and their families supporting them to become reintegrated into society."

Dr Raj Menon

A GP since 1979, partner at Arthington Medical Centre in Hunslet and now retired, Raj is a former chair of Leeds Local Medical Committee and has a keen interest in the provision of healthcare in deprived areas of Leeds.

Maggie Dawkins

Maggie has worked in the voluntary / community sector for over 30 years, including working in a voluntary and paid capacity for Health for All for three years. Maggie holds great respect for the organisation, it's ethos and practice and champions its success in improving the lives of a vast range of groups and individuals. She values direct involvement in the community sector and is founder and secretary of Leeds LGBT+ Forum, and is the LGBT+ member of Third Party Leeds Leadership Group.

Martin Dean

  • Now Retired After 35 Years' Experience Working in the Public Sector, Leading Teams Working to Improve Life in Our Poorest Communities
Martin is working as an associate at Leeds Community Foundation. He is familiar with different communities in Leeds and its neighborhoods, and different life chances for different groups. He believes local action, local knowledge and creative thinking has the best chance of driving change, tackling social determinants of health and reducing health inequalities. He has extensive experience in governance, and strategic direction in the third sector.

Pat joined Health for All in 1991, the charity's first Community development worker. Previous posts include manager of a national charity training young people as leaders within their communities and work across West Yorkshire supporting and building the capacity of teams and organisations. I'm passionate about small community groups and centres, and convinced of their positive impact on people's lives - especially those most excluded. I feel privileged to be part of the difference Health for All makes.

Paul Truswell

Paul helped establish Health for All in 1991. He has considerable experience of working on health promotion in the community, third sector, NHS and local authorities. As a former councillor and MP for almost 40 years, promoting health and tackling inequalities has been his greatest passion.

Rachel Duxbury

Rachel joined Health for All in 2018 to lead the HFA Bradford Better Start Breastfeeding Support Team. Rachel has 15 years' experience as a breastfeeding specialist, mainly in the NHS, supporting breastfeeding families in both community and clinical settings.

Richard Weaver ACE

Richard joined Health for All in 2005 at the start of the ACE project and now leads the large team of qualified coaches delivering weekly multi sports in schools and communities, getting children active. Richard loves all sports especially boxing and rugby. I played rugby from an early age and gained a professional contract to play Rugby in Australia. "I believe strongly in the contribution physical fitness makes to health and to mental wellbeing.

Shaun Pilkington

Shaun joined Health for All in May 2023 and is responsible for The Bridge Learning Disabilities Day Service and Café. Shaun has supported adults with learning disabilities in day services for 25 years and played a key role in developing and promoting the modernisation of day services in Leeds. Shaun has a passion for providing meaningful activities in a happy and safe environment within local communities.

Tim McSharry

A disabled person and family carer, Tim has over 25 years' volunteering experience with local and national charities, convinced of the vital role that charities play in enabling and promoting the health, wellbeing and participation of people within isolated and vulnerable communities. Tim has community representation and scrutiny roles with Leeds City Council, West Yorkshire Police and the Crown Prosecution Service.

Vicky joined Health for All in 2010, responsible for Strategic Human Resources and Payroll. Vicky brings over 17 years' HR experience within the hospitality and manufacturing industries. Vicky has a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). "I enjoy the interaction with all the departments. I think careful recruitment and staff development is crucial and love to see the positive contribution HR makes to the charity."

Vikrant Bhatia Young

Vikrant joined Health for All in 2007. Now responsible for the HFA Young People and Family services, Safeguarding training and Children's Safeguarding lead. Vikrant holds Masters degrees in Social Work and Business Management, with 20 years' experience in organisational development and strategic management. I am passionate about fairness and redressing inequality and truly inspired by the communities we serve. I'm proud to be part of Health for All, not just a name but way of life.
