David joined us in January 2023 after working many years in the North East. David brings with him a wealth of experience in residential conveyancing, particularly in relation to leasehold and equity release.

Helen qualified as a Solicitor in 2000 and joined AHM in April 2014. She specialises in Wills and Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Administration of Estates, Court of Protection work as well as the Grant of Probate from the Probate Registry.
Helen is a member of STEP, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Julianne joined the firm as a paralegal in 2000 and went on to qualify as a solicitor in 2003. She found the work in our Family Department the most satisfying and has over 18 years experience working in Child Care Law.
Julianne particularly specialises in child cases where there are problems with social services and advises not only the parents, but also their relatives and friends in relation to Special Guardianship Orders
Kate joined the firm as a Trainee Solicitor and qualified in 2010. Kate specialises in criminal law and is qualified as a Duty Solicitor so is accredited to represent those detained at the police station. Kate's main area of work is at the Magistrates' Court although she also deals with Prison Law, looking after the rights of prisoners.
Rachel joined the firm in July 2015 as a Trainee Solicitor and qualified in August 2017. After an initial probationary period in the Conveyancing Department, she continued her training in our Family Department, finishing in our Wills & Probate Department. However, once she qualified, she decided that she enjoyed conveyancing and has remained there every since.

Simon joined the firm in 1991 as a trainee solicitor. After qualification, he quickly realised that working in our Criminal Law Department was the career for him and he now has over 25 years' experience in defending those charged with a criminal offence.
