Aimee Constant

Aimee ensures that there is effective communication across IH teams and with clients, so deliverables are achieved on time for a successful game start. Aimee project manages programmes across the business and also manages the Central Engagement Team. Aimee is passionate about nutritional science, with a keen interest in biodynamic gardening. Aimee works on Beat the Street and also project manages other projects such as the GP physical activity training projects. Aimee manages the Central Engagement Team. Aimee is passionate about nutritional science; learning about the causes of ill health and what truly heals people of disease. Aimee also has a keen interest in biodynamic gardening and growing her own food including simple indoor skills such as sprouting seeds (aka microgreens) for dense and economical nutrition.

Alex Robins

Bethany Broomfield-Jones

Bethany is passionate about providing a voice for hidden and disadvantaged communities as well as promoting the benefits of exercise for mental health. Bethany has an Undergrad in Media Studies (Winchester University), a Masters in Radio (Goldsmiths University) and has also worked in several communication roles across a variety of industries. Bethany is passionate about providing a voice for hidden and disadvantaged communities. She is also keen to promote the real benefits of exercise for mental health. She has recently set up the new Intelligent Health Podcast. Make sure you have a listen! Bethany initially joined the Intelligent Health team to work in the Sustain phase but her work now spans across Marcomms and beyond. Craig McGarrie

Craig started his career as a Sports Technician at Edinburgh Napier University and has also worked for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and Technogym UK, gaining work-related experiences within healthcare, local authority leisure and national sport governing bodies. He has played football for many years at a semi-professional level. Craig started at Intelligent Health as an Engagement Coordinator, moving to Business Development and Partnerships Manager. He started his career as a Sports Technician at Edinburgh Napier University and then oversaw the launch and delivery of 2 brand new sport, fitness and wellbeing facilities at their Craiglockhart and Sighthill campuses. Craig has also worked for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and Technogym UK, which has allowed him to gain new work-related experiences within healthcare, local authority leisure and national sport governing bodies. Football is his sport and Craig has played for many years at a semi-professional level. He loves to see people achieve their personal health and fitness goals, and was proud to work at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow within the athlete's village for Technogym.

Debbie Chesterman

Debbie has always had a commitment to caring and helping people improve their lives, with contracts that have included the development and management of a visitor centre which catered for a range of hard-to-reach and vulnerable groups, setting up and running walking programmes and outdoor physical activity schemes. Dr William Bird MBE - CEO

Dr William Bird MBE set up Intelligent Health to build healthier, active and more connected communities. He is an advisor to the World Health Organisation, the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities and Sport England. William has been awarded an MBE for his contribution to health and physical activity. Dr William Bird MBE is passionate about getting people active. As a family GP in the 1990s, he pioneered the concept of social prescribing by setting up the first Health Walk scheme, closely followed by the first Green Gym. He quickly found that companionship and contact with nature were major driving forces in keeping people active. William is now a global authority on health and activity, and is an advisor to the World Health Organisation, the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities and Sport England. Recognising William's contribution to health and physical activity, William was awarded an MBE in the 2010 Queen's New Year Honours and as an Honorary Professor at the University of Exeter in 2021.In 2010, he set up Intelligent Health, an organisation that has a mission to build healthier, active and more connected communities.

Following an undergrad in Ancient History, Iman worked in restaurants for three years and loved meeting people from different backgrounds. She then moved to work for a B2B digital marketing agency in 2021. After spending two years there, she looked for a similar job with more purpose. With Intelligent Health's clear passion for health and behaviour change, she feels inspired every day. Jane Madden

Jane worked in Business Project Management for 14 years before leaving the workplace to home-educate her daughter. She has returned to Intelligent Health having left here in 2017 after being the Project Manager for our Beat the Street Programme. When not at work she enjoys walking, especially when she needs to burn off the treats made by her daughter who is an aspiring chef! Jenny Cottrell

With more than 10 years experience in the physical activity and community development sector, Jenny has an extensive background that includes helping develop community sports programmes for children, supporting deaf and disabled young people become more active as well as managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Intelligent Health's programmes help make being active a way of life for whole communities and with more than 10 years experience in the physical activity and community development sector, Jenny helps us achieve this goal in towns and cities across the world. With an extensive background that includes helping develop community sports programmes for children, supporting deaf and disabled young people become more active as well as managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders, Jenny ensures that we engage every part of the community. Jenny not only loves helping other people become active but staying active herself. She enjoys going to the gym and going for long walks with her Black Lab Oban.

With an educational background in journalism and previous communications work in the charity sector, Maddy has a flair for the creative. The creativity isn't limited to work - at home she can often be found crafting or building on her baking skills.

His background includes leading diverse projects as the Head of Innovation for HeathWallace, a global WPP digital agency. Richard is also a dedicated member of the Maker community, using his spare time to build and experiment with projects such as an open-source 3D printer and an Alexa-enabled bread-proving device.

I think we can learn a lot from them about connectivity to nature and ecosystems. They are also delicious; just remember you can't eat them all!
