Masahiro Kawamura is LRI's senior adviser for technology, based in Osaka, Japan. He has deep experience in business creation and growth strategies in such technology areas as automobile electronics, electric vehicle batteries, hydrogen fuel cells, car navigation, ITS services, and satellite positioning, and has a wide range of contacts with central and local governments, universities and car electrics and ITS industries. He worked for a major electronics manufacturer and a trading company for many years.

Richard Oshowole

Richard Oshowole is a management consultant with over 25 years of experience in change management, organisational development and programme management. He has worked with both private and public sector clients in Europe, Africa and Asia and held senior consultancy positions with leading British and International firms. Susan Singleton

Susan Singleton is LRI's legal adviser and one of the UK's leading IT lawyers. She has practised commercial, competition and intellectual property law for over 15 years. She worked for leading London law firms, Nabarro Nathanson, Slaughter and May, and Bristows, before founding her own firm in 1994. Since then she has advised over 300 UK and overseas clients. Author of 20 legal books, she also has a regular slot on LBC radio and writes for a number of legal journals. She also edits the journals IT Law Today and Telecoms Law Today.

Terence A. Cooper

Terence A. Cooper is LRI's senior adviser for projects involving chemical industries. He holds a PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry from Oxford University and an MBA from Drexel University. He has worked in the fields of polymer chemistry, materials technology, and materials-related market development for 38 years. He spent 16 years as a research associate with the Elastomer Chemicals, Polymer Products and Finishes departments at DuPont and eight years as manager of adhesives and sealants R&D, New Polymers R&D and Worldwide Styrene Quality with ARCO Chemical. Present areas of major involvement include water-soluble, biodegradable and bio-based materials, polymer blends and compatibilisation, sustainable packaging, fuel cells, recycling technology, and polymeric light-scattering systems for advanced display screens.

Teruhiko (Terry) Tsumura - Chairman

Terry, previously, worked for a Tokyo-based engineering consultancy, Pacific Consultants International (PCI),as a senior manager and project economist. He was involved mainly in the feasibility studies of energy/infrastructure projects such as power stations and gas pipelines in many countries in all the regions of the world. He represented the Japanese government at international conferences sponsored by the World Bank, the OECD and other international organisations. At LRI, besides managing the company, he continues to be involved in projects of both public and private sectors. He always hopes to serve as a leverage or foothold for his clients' overseas business expansion. He has many publications. He is a senior member of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industries as well as a member of Japan Society and the Institute of Directors.
